Prayer Call 02.07.12

Once again, Bishop delivers words filled with encouragement on Mt Zion’s prayer call. Here we will recap the principles that were laid out to encourage the Mt Zion family and friends.

2 Timothy 1:7 says (NKJV)

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – Know that fear cripples us in the body of Christ. Fear can keep you on hold, so you want get what God wants for your life.

Here are some principles we must remember pertaining to fear:

    1. You got to respond to fear with a corresponding action.Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God gives us his word that everything will be alright.
    2. Accept God’s word as the last word on your subject. Rehearse God’s word in your Spirit.
    3. Put your trust in God’s ability and not your own. God has the ability to do what we can’t.
    4. Keep your mind from fearful thoughts. Philippians 4 reminds us that the devil is trying to make you think that it (your situation) is worse than what it is.
    5. Keep in mind that God will fight your battles. This battle is not yours, it’s the Lord’s. Even your enemy knows that God will fight for you .
    6. Take authority over your fear.Know that you have enough word inside you that you can believe God for what he promised until it manifests.

Prayer Call 01/31/12

Good Morning,

The points Bishop Walker made on his prayer call were so encouraging, I felt that I should share them this morning. They are:

Anchor Text Romans 8:28-30

  1. Know that he has a plan for your life – Be able to tolerate the things that happen in your life, because you know that God has a plan. Jer 27:11
  2. Know that there is going to be pressure - Know that pressure is coming so that God can develop you for where you are about to go. Remember that you are under construction
  3. Always know and respect the providence of God – No matter what is going on in your life, know that God is at work in your life. He is always behind the scenes working.
  4. You have to presevere – Because of who you are in Him, know that you are stronger than the average person.
  5. Know that you will prevail - Know that you are going to come out on the top no mattter what it may look like in your life right now.

I hope these words from Bishop Walker’s prayer call will encourage you like they encouraged me. God Bless!
